Top 5: nezvyčajné vianočné tradície. Kakajúce polienko či večera v KFC

Nezvyčajné vianočné tradície nájdeme v rôznych kútoch sveta. Už len na našom malom Slovensku sa prejavujú rozdiely slávenia Vianoc od regióna k regiónu, či dokonca od mesta k mestu.
Vianoce patria k tým najkrajším a najobľúbenejším sviatkom v roku nielen u nás, ale po celom svete. Mnohé nezvyčajné vianočné tradície nám umožnia nahliadnuť hlbšie do konkrétnej kultúry, iné nás pobavia a svojou výstrednosťou možno aj mierne šokujú.
Zdobenie stromčeka, zapaľovanie sviečky na adventnom venci, vyrábanie lodičky z orechových škrupiniek, rozkrajovanie jablka či tanier navyše na štedrovečernom stole. To všetko sú naše zaužívané a nám všetkým dobre známe ľudové zvyky a obyčaje, ktoré spestrujú Vianoce na Slovensku. Ale aké nezvyčajné vianočné tradície ale majú ľudia vo svete?
1. Švédska koza Yule
Väčšinou sa s príchodom Vianoc na pár týždňov stane dominantou mesta vysvietený stromček s ozdobami. Namiesto neho však majú vo Švédsku slamenú kozu Yule v nadživotnej veľkosti. Tento symbol škandinávskych Vianoc má pôvod v starej mytológii, v ktorej Thor cestoval na voze ťahanom kozami. Po prvýkrát sa nadrozmerná Yule objavila začiatkom adventu v roku 1966 na nádvorí zámku Gävle.
Na kozu zo slamy môžete počas Vianoc natrafiť na námestiach nielen vo Švédsku, ale aj v Nórsku, Fínsku a Dánsku. Okrem popularity vyvolala aj istú kontroverziu. Spôsobila totiž začiatok zvláštnej a ilegálnej tradície. Vandalom sa ju takmer každý rok podarilo podpáliť.
Samosprávy preto pristúpili k jej pozornému stráženiu. Švédske stávkové kancelárie od roku 1988 dokonca vypisujú kurzy, či sa tamojšia koza Yule dožije Štedrého večera.
2. Vo Venezuela na korčuliach do kostola
V hlavnom meste Venezuely sa začínajú prípravy na Vianoce od 16. decembra rannou omšou Misa de Aguinaldo. Na chodení do kostola v období adventu nie je nič výnimočné. V Caracase však jazdia veriaci na omše na kolieskových korčuliach.
Vďaka klimatickým podmienkam majú korčuliari vo Venezuele v decembri teplo a žiadny sneh. Nevieme, ako táto zvláštna tradícia vznikla, no ide o dlhoročný zvyk. Ten je navyše natoľko populárny, že mestská samospráva je nútená v daný týždeň obmedziť rannú dopravu a uzavrieť ulice.
Súčasťou tradície sú aj nitky, ktoré si deti pred spaním uväzujú na palec na nohe. Ich druhý koniec spustia z okna na chodník. Keď ráno idú okolo prví korčuliari, potiahnu za povrázok a dieťa sa prebudí včas, aby omšu nezmeškalo.
3. Katalánsko alebo skôr Kakalánsko
Katalánsko dalo svetu dve nezvyčajné vianočné tradície. K oslavám Vianoc nesmie chýbať Caga Tió, čo v preklade znamená „kakajúce polienko“. Duté poleno na dvoch nôžkach s maľovanou tvárou a v červenej čiapke sa v deň Nepoškvrneného počatia Panny Márie, 8. decembra, inštaluje v spoločnej rodinnej miestnosti.
Deti sa o drevo musia vzorne starať, denne ho kŕmiť, napájať vodou a na noc prikrývať dekou. Na Štedrý večer príde jeho čas, kedy ho deti za spevu tradičných piesní udierajú palicami, aby z neho vytĺkli špeciálny trus so všetkými dobrotami a sladkosťami, ktoré predtým zjedlo.
To ale nie je jediná fekálna kuriozita v Katalánsku. Medzi nezvyčajné vianočné tradície patrí aj Caganer, figúrka sedliaka s tradičnou katalánskou čiapkou vykonávajúca veľkú potrebu. Možno nebola až taká zvláštna, pokiaľ by nebola súčasťou betlehemu.
Našťastie býva umiestnená v úzadí. Táto bizarná tradícia sa rozšírila aj do južnej oblasti Francúzska, Španielska a Talianska, a tak nie je prekvapením, že Caganer patrí medzi obľúbené turistické suveníry.
4. Japonský Štedrý večer v KFC
Kresťania tvoria v Japonsku len jedno percento z populácie, preto nie sú Vianoce v tejto krajine ani štátnym sviatkom. Napriek tomu ich oslavuje množstvo miestnych. Mnohých zrejme prekvapí fakt, že v Japonsku Štedrý deň pripomína skôr Deň svätého Valentína.
Vianoce sú totiž pre nich viac oslavou šťastia a romantiky, ako oslavou viery. Počas sviatku sa stretávajú najmä zaľúbené páry, ktoré si rozdávajú darčeky, chodia na prechádzky a večer si doprajú romantickú večeru.
Zaujímavosťou je, že od 70. rokov za pomoci intenzívnej reklamnej kampane spoločnosti KFC, trávi väčšina Japoncov štedrovečernú večeru v populárnej sieti fastfoodov pri svojom vedierku vyprážaných krídelok. KFC prevádzky sú počas Štedrého večera také vyťažené, že nájsť prázdny stôl je možné len s rezerváciou.
5. Nóri skrývajú metly
Nezvyčajnú a trochu zvláštnu vianočnú tradíciu majú aj v Nórsku. Podľa legendy na Štedrý večer povstávajú z hrobov zlí duchovia a čarodejnice. V domácnostiach preto kradnú metly, aby na nich celú noc lietali a páchali nečestné činy.
Aby sa pred nimi ľudia uchránili, všetky svoje metly každý rok starostlivo ukrývajú na ťažko dostupných miestach. Tým im zabránia vo vykonávaní zlej mágie. Občas dokonca v krboch pália smrekové drevo, aby sa duchovia nedostali dnu komínom.
