Medzinárodný filmový festival Cinematik sa koná v Piešťanoch aj tento rok. Ak ste sa ešte od utorka nestihli na premietaní zastaviť, určite to stihnete do nedele 18.9.

Okrem bohatého sprievodného programu, kde vystúpia napríklad aj Backwards či Fallgrapp, vás do Piešťan môžu prilákať filmové tipy jedného z hlavných organizátorov festivalu. Peter Konečný vybral päť snímok a vysvetlil, prečo ich treba vidieť.

1. Aftersun

Charlotte Wells

Hlavná súťaž Medzinárodného filmového festivalu Cinematik Meeting Point Europe prináša súbor výnimočných európskych filmov, z ktorých si svojho favorita okrem divákov bude vyberať aj odborná porota zložená z filmových kritikov a členov federácie FIPRESCI. Výber tradične pozostáva zo špičkových počinov, ktoré už za sebou neraz majú úspechy zo svetových festivalov.

„Sekciu otvorí britsko-americká dráma ocenená na tohtoročnom festivale v Cannes s názvom Aftersun. Prestížna French Touch Prize týždňa kritikov putovala do rúk režisérky a scenáristky Charlotte Wells, za príbeh Sophie uvažujúcej nad zdieľanou radosťou a osobnou melanchóliou dovolenky, ktorú pred dvadsiatimi rokmi strávila so svojím otcom. Skutočné i vymyslené spomienky vypĺňajú medzery medzi zábermi z miniDV kaziet popri tom, ako sa snaží zjednotiť otca, ktorého poznala, s mužom, ktorého nepoznala,“ uvádza Konečný.

2. Vortex

Gaspar Noé

Sekcia Cesty slávy je stálou súčasťou Cinematiku. Návštevníci sa v nej môžu tešiť na pestrý výber oceňovaných festivalových filmov, ktorých cesty za slávou sa začali vlani.

Peter Konečný hovorí o filme: „Jedným z najzvučnejších titulov je v tejto sekcii nepochybne Vortex (2021) ikonického argentínskeho filmára Gaspara Noého. Psychologická dráma s Dariom Argentom a Françoise Lebrun je príbehom manželov, ktorí sa snažia vysporiadať so strasťami staroby. Noé tentoraz upustil od svojho charakteristického hypnotického vizuálu. S obrazom sa však pohral rozdelením na dve polovice, ktoré umožňujú sledovať dej súčasne z pohľadu oboch hrdinov. Tento prvok Noé využil už v roku 2019 vo filme Lux Æterna. Vortex mal premiéru na festivale v Cannes. Na Slovensku bude mať premiéru práve na Cinematiku.“

3. Osem hôr / Le otto montagne

Felix van Groeningen, Charlotte Vandermeersch

Cenu Poroty v Cannes tento rok získali Felix van Groeningen a Charlotte Vandermeersch za film Osem hôr (Le otto montagne) podľa rovnomenného bestselleru Paola Cognettiho.

„Je to film o priateľstve, majestátnych horách a o tom, na čom v živote naozaj záleží. Podmanivý príbeh tom, ako sa z detí stanú muži, ktorí sa snažia prekonať stopy svojich otcov, ale ktorí sa napriek náročným životným okamihom, nakoniec vždy vrátia domov. Precízne dielo si získalo zostavovateľa sekcie Cesty slávy a rozhodne si zaslúži veľké filmové plátno počas slovenskej premiéry na festivale Cinematik. Titul uvedieme vo veľkej sále Domu umenia – najväčšom kine na Slovensku,“ dodáva organizátor.

4. Klondike

Maryna Er Gorbach

Film ukrajinskej režisérky a scenáristky Maryny Er Gorbach – Klondike (2022) má za sebou úspešné festivaly. Na Berlinale získal Cenu ekumenickej poroty, zo Sundance si zas jeho tvorkyňa odniesla Cenu za réžiu.

Konečný vybral aj ukrajinský film: „Príbeh nás prenesie na ukrajinsko-ruské hranice do roku 2014, kedy došlo k zostreleniu lietadla s takmer 300 pasažiermi na palube. Dramatické udalosti sledujeme optikou manželov, ktorí sa uprostred ozbrojeného konfliktu snažia zachovať pokoj, ale najmä ochrániť svoj domov a nenarodené dieťa. Filmársky mimoriadnu ukrajinskú drámu uvedie Cinematik v slovenskej premiére.“

5. Slovo

Beata Parkanová

Dobový film režisérky Beaty Parkanovej Slovo mal svoju svetovú premiéru na tohtoročnom filmovom festivale v Karlových Varoch (KVIFF). Od medzinárodnej poroty tu získal dve hlavné ceny. Beata Parkanová si odniesla Cenu za réžiu a Martin Finger Cenu za mužský herecký výkon. Ide o historický úspech česko-slovenského filmu, keďže získať ocenenia v obidvoch uvedených kategóriách sa ešte doposiaľ žiadnej českej ani slovenskej snímke nepodarilo.

„Film uvedie aj festival Cinematik a to v slovenskej festivalovej premiére. Snímka Slovo sleduje príbeh manželov Václava a Věry, ktorí si navzájom dali slovo, že budú stáť pri sebe v dobrom aj v zlom. Okolie aj ťažké časy v Česko-Slovensku v rokoch 1968 a 1969 ich však vystavujú náročným skúškam. Slovo je film o nenápadnej sile lásky dvoch rozdielnych manželov, ktorí sa navzájom pevne držia a chránia. V hlavných úlohách excelujú Martin Finger a Gabriela Mikulková,“ uzatvára Peter Konečný.
